Hello friends!
I am sharing with you a mix of things today, sharing a latest casual look with a new Teddy Blake bag.
Casual Look and Teddy Blake Bag
Yes, a Teddy Blake bag! A new one for Spring. This is the Margot, of a new style, which comes in 6 colors. This light tan bag holds my phone and wallet, and a lipstick. Enough space if you don’t like to carry large bags. preferring small to medium size bags these days, this is perfect for when you don’t want to carry a large, heavier bag. The only time I carry a larger bag these days is when I travel by car.
Made out of Stampatto leather, the Margot is a soft pebbled leather made in Italy. The simplicity of the design also caught my eye.
My Outfit
I love to dress up but have been in the mood for denim lately. I thought I would share an easy look for you today, those of you that want some additional casual looks to add or style for your wardrobe.
Lady jackets have been “all the rage” this and last year, and this one was a steal. I initially found ones on the J Crew website, but found, with a long torso, they would be too cropped. This tan/black striped lady jacket is soft and is long enough for ladies with longer torsos. You can wear it as a sweater, as I have done here, or layer with a cami or t-shirt and wear it open, on these still chilly Spring days. This one is also a fraction of the cost.
My denim is the Perfect Vintage jeans by Madewell, and they have 1 % stretch, 99% cotton, giving them more softness and a bit of stretch. I typically wear a 27 in denim, but have sized down to a 26 in Madewell, as they tend to run a little large.
Converse sneakers are “too cool for school” and give off classic Americana vibes. I styled this look with my platform Converse sneakers for a bit for support.
As a like a bit “extra” I have added a contrasting, yet coordinating silk scarf for pattern mixing, in a leopard print. I love the French-inspired look with a striped sweater or shirt and neck scarf. Very Parisian, right?
