Today I am sharing an elevated casual look with my cream ( ecru) cropped jeans and the same print top as my dress I shared the other day.

I used to not be a fan of summer, with all of the humidity and such. Years ago, I changed my mine. The longer light, the sun’s warmth, eating outside and enjoying fresh vegetable is very welcoming. We have had some great summer days here thus far.
Today’s Look
Well, Memorial Day weekend seems to be the kickoff to summer. So, here we are and besides sundresses, I love to wear this fail-safe combination of a modern cut of denim with a beautiful blouse. Slides have been my go-to lately, and these woven raffia olive green ones go with much in my wardrobe. My circular raffia white bag is worn often, as it often reminds me of summer picnics and adds a freshness to the look. Yes, think of this as an elevated uniform that is easy to put together.
The ecru colored denim is worn quite frequently, as it is a bit warmer than a stark white. It also has some stretch and a cropped length, for me being 5 foot 9. Those of you ladies that are shorter, or petite might appreciate the length on the jeans.
Yellow is a trending color, and if you read my blog, the last BLOG POST had the same print. I love the mix of the green and yellow flowers; it reminded me of colors that were combined in the 70s. Yes, we had a yellow fridge and green appliances, or something of the sort. The romantic fuller sleeves and button detail alao elevate the look
