Today I’m styling these beautiful Italian Bruno Magli sandals. Si preparano a girare la testa!
Prepare to Turn Heads with the Bruno Magli Sandal – The Monica
You know I had to do it. Turning Heads Linkup is 8 years old, and I had to include it in today’s post.
And these sandals will turn heads!
I truly believe that quality over quantity is the way to go in deciding on your wardrobe pieces. I do get a fair amount of product as a blogger, but things are recycled, given to charity, and handed down. I have made purchases over the years that just didn’t quite cut it, and shoes can be one of those things that is a deal breaker, as far as looks and comfort.
I shared with you the gorgeous Bruno Magli espadrilles in last week’s POST HERE, and the quality is apparent. The solid buckle, the strap, the suede and just the weight of the shoe makes it one that may be an investment, but will last years, if taken care of.
The same can be said for this beautifully crafted sandal – the Monica. It’s about 3 inches high, has a thick leather strap that is adjustable, solid hard wear and a raffia and gold design in the front. It sole is substantial and it is also made in Italy! Bellisima!
This sandal comes in the cognac color I am wearing, as well as black and off-white, all neutrals that would go with any look. Picture this with a gingham sundress, or a smart pair of wide leg trousers and blouse.
Le mie scarpe sono bella!
There is the entire Spring collection to mull over, with bright colored sandals, loafers, flats , espadrilles.
How I Styled Them
Here I styled them with my new trench coat, and a monochromatic look underneath. Keeping with the cognac color, I wore I sleeveless and belt, and added a bit of contrast with a leopard neckscarf and black Bruno Magli bag.
The sandal is the perfect height, and comfortable. I just love this neutral color and am planning on wearing with some of my linen dresses and skirts. Want to dress up jeans? Wear these with a straight leg pair, a tee, and blazer and you have an elevated look.
