Sharing two ways I have styled this beautiful purple leopard dress from Clara Sunwoo.
Yes, it is 2025 and it is hard to believe. The years are going by fast. We had lots of changes at the end of 2024, but one thing that stays the same is my love for mother-daughter business duo of Clara Sunwoo. ( see that segway;0) The clothes drape so nicely and the fact that it they are wrinkle free is so wonderful. No ironing! Plus, the fact you can roll them in your suitcase, and you don’t have to worry about it. I wear CSW on the plane as well as during my travels.
Who said a leopard had to have brown spots? This dress, which drapes beautifully has purple spots with a cobalt sheen. I paired it with my cobalt liquid leather jacket and they make a great match. Keep the accessories neutral if you want a more sophisticated look. I am wearing my croc printed Teddy Blake bag and Zara cream kitten heels.
Lastly, I bought this Vince faux fur cream jacket from Poshmark and am a regular shopper there. Poshmark sells secondhand and new items, so I often get a great deal. Read my post I wrote awhile back on ” How to Shop on Poshmark.”
As I writing this, I am thinking of wearing this outfit tonight. We have a Fin and Fino restaurant near my mom’s apartment, so we will go hang out and enjoy some $10 cocktails and bar bites while listening to music. I need to get out! For several weeks I had been moping about Truffles and I am to the point that I need to escape a bit.
Do You Dress for Your Mood?
How many times do you reach into your closet, while you may be either feeling down, don’t know what to wear, or want to feel chic and pick all black. My mom says that when I wear all black I must be “depressed”. Well, if that was the case, 90% of New York City would be depressed! LOL.
Color in a bare season can help lift the mood. I will wear neutrals that I consider “cozy” or “calm” See my post on Mocha Mousse, the Color of the Year, or need some color to brighten my day or mood.
This outfit, whether it be with the cobalt jacket or the fun fur, will do just that. Put a smile on your face, guaranteed!
